Reinforced Inflatable Seal

The ring is made of reinforced materials, it is flexible, qualified in performance, can be widely used on various occasions

1. Reinforced inflatable seal consists of rubber layer, fiber reinforced layer, outside rubber layer, air-valve, etc., its advantages are resistance to higher pressure (can stand 200KPa inflation pressure), and reliable performance properties; but its disadvantages are complicated process, higher cost, lower inflation (small sealing gap). Inflatable seal is mainly used in airplane-cockpit, aircraft carrier hatchway, fire-door, air tight door, etc..

2. Main materials

1> If there is no special requirements, inflatable seal is usually made of the mixed materials of NR and synthetic rubber, its service temperature ranges from -55oC to +80oC, and sealing agents are water, air or other inert gases.

2> If the seal needs contacting with oil, organic solvent, etc., it can be made of certain rubber materials which are resistant to those agents. Its service temperature ranges from -30oC to +80oC.

3> If the inflatable seal is required to use at the temperature of -55oC to +180oC, it can be made of silicon rubber.
